Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaption and modification on standards techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Independently performs most assignments with the instructions of the general results expected
Complete understanding of Plan Production / Project Work Flow
Plans, schedules, conducts/coordinates detailed phases of the professional work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
Acute awareness of schedules, deadlines, and manhours required to complete projects and tasks.
Basic understanding of budgets and corresponding project scopes.
Responsible for training Interns and EIT’s.
Expected to delegate tasks and review the work of others.
Effectively communicate with supervisors, direct reports and peers to achieve the team’s objective.
Responsible charge for design and signing & sealing of plans.
Effectively communicate technical design elements with other engineers outside the organization.

Applicant must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
4+ years’ experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Technical (design) knowledge
Understanding of Project Schedules and Budgets
Responsible charge of signing and sealing projects
Effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, subordinates, clients, etc.
Self-motivated and deadline sensitive with strong time-management skills.
