MUNICIPAL PROJECT
Expanded Connectivity
This City of Fort Worth Parks project involved the design of trail improvements, including a challenging low water crossing, to Coventry Hills Park. This trail system provided an important connection to adjacent neighborhoods and expanded connectivity into a larger trail system allowing the public to enjoy the full benefits of the park structure.
Extensive Coordination
This project also required extensive coordination with subconsultants due to environmentally sensitive areas located in the park. By developing a permitting plan to minimize impacts to waters of the US, Shield’s design team was successful in addressing the needs of the public while mitigating negative impact to the surrounding natural environment.
