Shield Engineering Group provided civil engineering design services for a two-phase single-family residential development in Krum, TX. Services included water, sewer, paving, grading, drainage, hydraulic modeling, surveying and pond design.

Shield’s drainage design mitigates stormwater to a nearby pond to ensure adjacent properties do not experience flooding in the case of heavy storm events. In addition, parallel pipes were used to ensure water moves to the proper side of the development to provide adequate drainage.
