MUNICIPAL PROJECT
Shield Engineering Group provided civil engineering design services for the sanitary sewer rehabilitation on Winton Terrace in Fort Worth, TX. This development will help serve the growing population in DFW and take the residential area off of the Fort Worth Zoo’s sanitary sewer service line.
Approximately 5,300LF of sanitary sewer lines and 4,700LF of water lines were replaced from 6 inches to 8 inches in order to meet new TCEQ and City of Fort Worth standards. The rehabilitation included CIPP, boring and open cut construction methods throughout the entire neighborhood.
