RYAN HILL, PE

Ryan serves as the EVP at Shield Engineering, bringing over 18 years of experience of expertise in civil engineering and land development within the DFW area to Shield’s leadership team. With credentials as a Registered Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager, Ryan’s background highlights the breadth and depth of project knowledge including drainage, floodplain management and capital improvements. As a testament to his commitment and leadership, Ryan was recognized as a Fort Worth 40 Under 40 award recipient by the Fort Worth Business Press in 2021.

Ryan holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, which enhances his ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders and allows him to offer valuable engineering insights to clients. He plays a pivotal role in navigating projects from start to finish, fostering collaborations with utility commissions and other regulatory bodies to maximize project success.
