Shield Engineering Group provided civil engineering design services for approximately 1,250LF for a mostly undeveloped area along Wendell Street from Boone Street to Cedar Street. Services included water, sanitary sewer, drainage, paving, hydraulic calculations and surveying.

This project included the analysis and correction of a Master Plan Drainage Study previously prepared for the City of Cleburne to alleviate flooding east of the BNSF railroad. Shield prepared opinions of cost of the proposed improvements, as well as costs and alternatives for future storm drain improvements to prevent repetitive flood events from occurring. The team’s infrastructure design services provided solutions to Wendell Street for future improvements to be phased out.
