MUNICIPAL PROJECT
Shield Engineering supported the City of Kennedale with design services for the replacement of an aging water storage tank. The project included site planning for a new 750,000 gallon ground storage tank to improve long-term water system reliability.
The design included approximately 300LF of new piping, the replacement of two fire hydrants and the installation of a cathodic protection system. Shield coordinated with the City of Arlington to ensure the improvements were smoothly connected to the regional water system and aligned with nearby fire lane construction.
